Damage Management Policy
We now offer a new way to record any vehicle defects. Vehicle damage is record on the ‘Prohire Companion App’ on a hand held device upon check out and details are sent to the customers email address. Pictures are taken of all four sides of the vehicle. Then on return of the vehicle, the check over is completed and any new damage will be recorded and the customer informed.
A few branches will still use the old damage sheet method whereby the vehicle is checked out with a damage report sheet on collection of the vehicle, this will clearly show current damage to the vehicle with either a stamp or signature detailing the damage, date and registration of the vehicle. Some branches will provide carbon copies of the damage report form that the customer can keep for reference.
Customers are entitled to take pictures on site of any damage before they leave.
Damage not shown on the report and reported after the vehicle has left the branch site is not valid.
